"You can always learn a thing or two."

Bingo at the Warmhearth center is amazing! My parents are the youngest of 13 and 9 kids in their families, I am the youngest of four. Growing up, I had very old grandmothers and watched as they progressively got older. Each came to stay with us for a while and I learned how to take care of them which gave me a lot of patience.

At first it was difficult to understand why they were becoming the way they were so fast (in my mind). Going to the Warmhearth center gives me that amazing feeling back when I get to talk to, make smile, or even get flirted with! You must remember these people have been around longer than you have, and have gone through many decades of change in this world and they deserve nothing more then to be loved and taken care of.

Some may not talk to you, or be nice, but deep down, you are giving them their true sense of life back when they remember their good old days. They are old, sometimes sick, and sometimes cranky .. but they have a lot of experience behind their belts and you can always learn a thing or two!
